Reverend Catheryn Young received the Lord Jesus Christ as  her personal Savior in 1977. She was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit in 1980. She currently serves as one of the Associate Ministers at the United Missionary Baptist Church (UMBC), Dayton, OH under the leadership of  Rev. Dr. Leroy Cothran, Pastor.  


Reverend Young as we lovingly call her is a dynamic preacher and  Sunday school teacher. She also directs our Women's Ministry programming where she empowers ladies of all ages to be the best they can be in the Lord!  Reverend Young  can be reached at (cyou412@gmail.com).

Dr. Reverend Rose A. Irwin is a native of Dayton, Ohio and a 1988 graduate of Trotwood Madison High School. Rev. Irwin attended Payne Lay School of Theology, where she earned a certificate in Biblical Studies. Degree accomplishments includes, an Associate of Art Degree in Psychology from Sinclair Community College, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Wright State University and a Master of Divinity Degree, with an emphasis in Pastoral Care and Counseling, from United Theological Seminary. Currently, Rev. Irwin is a Doctor of Ministry Student at United Theological Seminary, where she is studying in the area of Prophetic Preaching and Praxis.

Rev. Irwin is a life-long member of the United Missionary Baptist Church, where she serves as a Senior Associate Minister. Rev. Irwin is involved in various ministries within United, such as the Music Ministry, Sunday School Ministry, Women’s Ministry and she serves as the Vacation Bible School Coordinator. Rev. Irwin was licensed by United Missionary Baptist Church, to preach the Gospel, on August 31, 2003 and she was ordained on August 25, 2019. Rev. Irwin is a woman called by God, who is seeking to do the will of God! Her motto is, “We ain’t seen nothing yet! The Best is yet to come!” 1 Cor. 2:9. To God Be The Glory!



Reverend Celita McBeth received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior when she was 11 years old. She has been a member of United Missionary Baptist Church for many years. During the years, She has served in many capacities such as a  youth director, Superintendent of Sunday School, and a member of the pastoral staff.

She has been teaching the word of God for many years. In 2009, she became a licensed preacher under the direction of Dr. Leroy Cothran.  She has been God’s prophet for more than 12 years. To God be the glory!

Reverend McBeth is a board member of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) of the Miami Valley, a member of PACT (Police And Clergy Together), and a graduate of the Neighborhood Leadership Institute. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management, and attended Grace Ministries Bible College. Reverend McBeth has a heart for the community. The church should be a light, hope, and help in the community. Her prayer is that lost souls become saved, lives be changed for the better, and that all neighborhoods be safe places to live while our youth have positive outlets to socialize and express their creativity.
